The Battle for America’s Sovereignty: Why Complacency is Not an Option Andrew Torba, January 13, 2025 Share this: As we head into the Trump administration in the coming days, it is crucial that we remain vigilant and not succumb to complacency. All too often those on the right focus solely on the election cycle every four years, only to disengage from the ongoing battle once a single victory has been achieved, particularly when “our side” emerges triumphant. However, it is essential that you approach the next four years with the same tenacity and dedication as you did the previous four, for the fight for our nation’s sovereignty and the preservation of our people has only just begun. Before even assuming power, the incoming Trump administration has already displayed signs of tempering expectations regarding key campaign promises, such as mass deportations. Tom Homan, designated as the border czar for the incoming administration, has privately advised Republican lawmakers to moderate their expectations regarding the initial deportation operation. This stance contrasts sharply with Trump’s campaign promise of conducting the largest deportation effort in U.S. history. While Trump has pledged to deport millions of undocumented immigrants, Homan has cited resource constraints and budgetary limitations as significant hurdles. He has emphasized a phased approach, focusing on targeting individuals with final removal orders and those posing threats to public safety and national security. This more measured strategy highlights the practical challenges of implementing such an ambitious deportation plan, despite Trump’s bold rhetoric during the campaign. We must hold Republicans accountable on this issue. Every day that people are here illegally is another day where resources are deprived of our citizens, violence threatens our people, and our culture and communities are irreversibly altered for the worse. We simply don’t have time for a “phased approach” and lack of funding is no excuse. If the US government can send billions and billions of dollars to Ukraine and Israel then it can fund a mass deportation campaign in our own country to remove the criminals who are plaguing our communities. As we witnessed over the Christmas break, the new coalition of tech bros surrounding Trump is resolute in their determination to continue replacing American workers with foreign H1B slave labor. With Republicans now wielding unilateral control over the entire federal government, just as they did in 2016, we have a mere two years to hold their feet to the fire and ensure that the America First mandates are brought to fruition. We need to fight to make sure the mandate that is implemented is the one of the American people, not the donor class. It’s clear that Elon and X are not on the side of America First, but rather on the side of “shareholders first.” Among other things Elon called the America First wing of the MAGA movement “unskilled,” “retards” and more. He then proceeded to remove the verification checkmarks, suspend, and demonetize many of the America First accounts on X who pushed back the hardest against the H1B issue. Then he changed the algorithm to further bury their posts into the shadows. Perhaps not surprisingly, this sudden change of heart by Elon happened just days after his AI company Xai took on a $6 billion dollar investment from Blackrock and other globalist investors. The illusion of X being a free speech platform is long gone and Gab is more important than ever. Gab will continue to do our part in providing a platform for people to speak freely, even when their voices are being drown out and ignored by the very people they elected to represent them. Gab is the only platform on the internet that tells foreign governments like the UK–where citizens are being jailed for social media posts–to get bent. We are the only platform on the internet without a “hate speech” policy. We are the only platform on the internet without Blackrock money funding us. We can’t do what we do without support from people like you though. We are fully funded by the support from everyday people in our community who upgrade to GabPRO, donate, or buy merchandise from our shop. As we gear up for the battles ahead in 2025 we need your support now more than ever. We must continue to build and dedicate ourselves to strengthening our families, fortifying our local communities, and constructing parallel infrastructure like Gab that remains impervious to the subversive influence of the Regime. Now is not the time for complacency or self-congratulation; rather, it is a time for renewed commitment and unwavering resolve in the face of the challenges that lie ahead. Over the course of the next four years, it is essential that we remain steadfast in our dedication to the principles and values that define the America First movement. We must not allow ourselves to be swayed by the siren song of compromise or the false promise of temporary victories. Instead, we must continue to fight for the preservation of our nation’s sovereignty, the protection of our people, and the advancement of our shared goals. In order to achieve these objectives, we must remain engaged and vigilant, never losing sight of the larger battle at hand. We must continue to hold our elected officials accountable–Trump included– demanding that they uphold the promises they made during the campaign and work tirelessly to advance the America First agenda. We must also remain steadfast in our commitment to building a stronger, more resilient society, one that is capable of withstanding the myriad challenges that confront us. In the face of these challenges, it is all too easy to succumb to the temptation of complacency, to believe that our work is done and that we can rest on our laurels. This is a dangerous illusion, one that we cannot afford to indulge in. The battle for the soul of our nation is an ongoing one and it requires our constant vigilance and unwavering dedication. So as we head into the Trump administration, let us remember the lessons of the past and remain steadfast in our commitment to the America First movement. Let us continue to build, to fight, and to hold our elected officials accountable, never losing sight of the larger battle at hand. For it is only through our tireless efforts and unwavering resolve that we can hope to secure a brighter future for ourselves, our families, and our nation. To God be the glory.
