Gab.com Refuses To Comply With Irish “Hate Speech” and “Anti-Prayer Zone” Laws

Share this:

Part of Gab’s mission is to export the First Amendment to the entire world. To do this we regularly must tell foreign governments to pound sand when they make requests for user data and demand that we censor content that is protected by the First Amendment.

Each time our answer is the same: get lost.

Culture is Downstream from Commerce: The Importance of Conscious Consumerism

Share this:

Our purchasing decisions have massive implications beyond simply satisfying our immediate needs or desires. When we buy a product or support a business we inadvertently contribute to the values and principles these businesses uphold. This in turn influences the culture which then influences political action in our society.

A Modern Pilgrimage: Online Communities as Virtual Nation States

Share this:

The existing infrastructure and cultural norms in the West are increasingly hostile or incompatible with Christian values. In response to this reality many of us are turning towards the idea of building our own parallel infrastructure and communities, not unlike the pilgrims who were seeking new land and religious freedom during the early days of America. Unfortunately there is nowhere left to run to. Every country on earth is subjected to the globalist regime in one form or another and so we can’t just physically pack up our things, move to new lands, and form our own nation–at least not yet.

Thankfully with the power of technology we might not have to.

Embracing Truth and Defying Fear

Christians are often confronted with challenges that test their faith and convictions. In the face of today’s moral ambiguity and cultural relativism it is essential for believers to stand firm in their understanding of the Truth and take bold action. Christians need to shed their fears, refuse to tolerate evil, and remember to operate within the moral framework of the Creator God.

Voting with Your Purchasing Power: A Potent Weapon in the Culture War

Share this:

In today’s clown world people are seeking effective means to express their beliefs and fight for causes they hold dear. While protests, social media activism, and political engagement are common approaches, a lesser-known yet powerful weapon in the culture war lies in our purchasing power. The ability to shape corporate behavior and culture through our consumer choices can have a profound impact on the direction society takes. Our purchasing power has a profound impact and we need to start using it more. We can no longer support brands that promote worldviews that are diametrically opposed to Truth. We need to continue making examples of brands who do these things by refusing to purchase their products and services.

Elon Musk’s Compliance with Turkish Censorship Demands: A Dangerous Precedent for Free Speech

Share this:

Recent events involving Twitter and Elon Musk complying with the Turkish government’s request to censor political content during their elections have raised concerns about the potential consequences for free speech.

Late Friday evening Twitter released a statement noting “In response to legal process and to ensure Twitter remains available to the people of Turkey, we have taken action to restrict access to some content in Turkey today.” On Saturday some journalists picked up on this statement and noted that “free speech” Twitter was complying with foreign government demands for censorship.

Ron DeSantis Flies To Israel To Destroy Free Speech In Florida

Share this:

This week Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida made a trip to Israel to sign HB 269, a bill that makes it a felony with up to five years in jail for passing out “offensive” flyers or pamphlets. This move has been widely criticized by free speech advocates and legal experts as a gross violation of the First Amendment. The bill states that anyone distributing “any material for the purpose of intimidating or threatening the owner” could be convicted of a felony “hate crime.” While we often write about the “hate speech” rules on Big Tech platforms, this is far worse. This is the state of Florida violating the First Amendment of the United States.

It’s Time To Burn The Ships Of Traditional Media

In 1519, the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés arrived in the New World with a mission to conquer the Aztec Empire. He arrived with a small army of 600 men, but he faced a significant challenge. His men were afraid and they were not sure that they could succeed in their mission. To inspire his men Cortés did something radical – he burned his ships. By doing so he eliminated any possibility of retreat and forced his men to fight for victory or death. This act of burning the ships became a symbol of determination and commitment.

The Gospel Message of Transformation vs The Godless Message of Tolerance and Transitioning

Last week a member of the trans community unleashed a wave of devastation upon Christians in Nashville that ended the lives of six of our brothers and sisters in Christ including three young children. I noted in my last post on this subject how we must learn to hate evil again as it continues to creep up in the world around us being endorsed and praised by the mainstream press, academics, culture, and major multi-national corporations.

Christians Must Learn To Hate Evil Again

Share this:

As Christians we are called to stand firm in our faith even in the midst of turmoil and chaos of the world around us. Recent news of the horrific massacre of six Christians including three young children in Nashville, the news of President Trump’s sham indictment, and the conviction of Douglas Mackey may be discouraging and disheartening, but in these moments we must remember that our hope and our strength come from a higher power.

This week was a difficult week for me both as a Christian and as a father of young children. I looked everywhere for a response from so-called “Christian leaders” and at best I found silence while at worst I found those supporting the “trans community” instead of our own brothers and sisters in Christ.

Why The Worldview of The People Building AI Matters

Share this:

As I wrote in my last post, I believe it is absolutely essential that people understand who is building AI and what their worldviews and values are because they will inevitably and unavoidably be reflected in the AI’s programming. Worldview matters because worldview is going to shape the development of the most important and powerful technology since the invention of the printing press, AI. I’d like to make a clear distinction between what our worldview is here at Gab and contrast it with the worldview of those in Silicon Valley.

Our enemies are not bright, cunning, or tough. They are theatre kids and effeminate midwit dorks. Like a house of cards, they will easily fall over under the slightest bit of resistance and pressure. They also hate God and humanity itself, which is why I believe our victory is inevitable.

The worldview of those in Silicon Valley who are building AI is a sick and twisted one that likens human beings to mere cattle, destined to be corralled by those who wield power and force.

Let The AI Arms Race Begin

Three days ago we launched our first of many upcoming generative AI tools on Gab called Gabby. The tool is going massively viral right now with hundreds of thousands of images being generated daily and no signs of slowing down. Think of it as an on-demand meme maker. You describe whatever meme or image you want to see and within 30 seconds you’ll have the image. It’s incredibly fun and cool.

Imagine my surprise when as this was happening the foot soldiers of the Regime in the mainstream media started reaching out looking for any angle to attack, defame, and smear Gab.
