The AI Revolution: A Choice Between Creative Freedom and Machined Slavery

Share this:

The rise of AI is not just a technological shift, but a societal one. It’s a revolution that will fundamentally change the fabric of our economy, our culture, and our very way of life. In this new world, I see two paths emerging. On one hand, we have the creative builders. On the other, we have the machined slaves. The question is: which one will you be?

Social Media As We Know It Is Dead And AI Killed It

Authenticity in today’s world has become a rare commodity.

The advent of AI and its ability to replicate human behavior in text-based conversations, posts, and comments has led to an influx of inauthentic content and interactions. The line between AI and human engagement has blurred, leaving users struggling to distinguish between genuine human interaction and AI-generated content.

Google’s Anti-White AI Is Tech’s Bud Light Moment

As the CEO of Gab I’ve been in the fight to expose the bias and censorship of Big Tech companies for nearly 8 years now. Every few months over the course of those eight years there has been one story or another about Big Tech’s bias and their censorship of people on the right.

AI As The Information War Superweapon

Many people, even those who do not fall prey to mainstream narratives, do not know what to make of AI. When the subject of AI comes up, most people assume it is uncanny valley images of people with three thumbs and eleven fingers or that it is a demonic computer entity which will become self-aware and nuke the world. In the case of the latter, popular culture certainly doesn’t help, with movies like Terminator, I, Robot or the most recent Mission Impossible.

A Religious Ontology of AI

by David Treebeard

“After God, let us have our own conscience as our mentor and rule for all things, so that we may know which way the wind is blowing and set our sails accordingly.”

St. John Climacus, Ladder of Divine Ascent, Chapter 26.6

All of my text messages were monosyllabic. Yes. No. K. Cool. Thanks. I had to look up or print out directions at the house before driving somewhere new. My music selection was limited to CDs. I had to go buy a camera.

With these inconveniences came a sweet type of freedom. I was more often alone with my thoughts. I was more often surprised by the world around me. I spent more time looking people in the eye. And I noticed, for the first time, how many people glued their faces to their phones, in all kinds of public places. When I used a smartphone myself, I hadn’t really ever noticed that – my own face, too, had been glued down.

Smoke, Mirrors, and Fake News About AI

There used to be a meme where you’d start a sentence on a mobile phone that would suggest words above the keyboard, and you keep picking the middle suggestion until you completed a sentence. This was an admittedly simple AI, generating text, predicting what the next word could be. We are not much further along than this today, although the AI does have a better vocabulary this time around.

Why The Worldview of The People Building AI Matters

Share this:

As I wrote in my last post, I believe it is absolutely essential that people understand who is building AI and what their worldviews and values are because they will inevitably and unavoidably be reflected in the AI’s programming. Worldview matters because worldview is going to shape the development of the most important and powerful technology since the invention of the printing press, AI. I’d like to make a clear distinction between what our worldview is here at Gab and contrast it with the worldview of those in Silicon Valley.

Our enemies are not bright, cunning, or tough. They are theatre kids and effeminate midwit dorks. Like a house of cards, they will easily fall over under the slightest bit of resistance and pressure. They also hate God and humanity itself, which is why I believe our victory is inevitable.

The worldview of those in Silicon Valley who are building AI is a sick and twisted one that likens human beings to mere cattle, destined to be corralled by those who wield power and force.

Let The AI Arms Race Begin

Three days ago we launched our first of many upcoming generative AI tools on Gab called Gabby. The tool is going massively viral right now with hundreds of thousands of images being generated daily and no signs of slowing down. Think of it as an on-demand meme maker. You describe whatever meme or image you want to see and within 30 seconds you’ll have the image. It’s incredibly fun and cool.

Imagine my surprise when as this was happening the foot soldiers of the Regime in the mainstream media started reaching out looking for any angle to attack, defame, and smear Gab.
