Gab Tells Governments Who Demand Censorship To Get Lost, Facebook Censors On Behalf Of The Biden Admin

The “Facebook Files” recently made public have shed light on how White House officials exerted pressure on the social media giant for special access to…

Facebook’s Twitter Alternative Is Already Censoring

Share this:

This week Meta-owned Instagram launched Threads, a Twitter competitor, aiming to diversify its services. In a surprise to no one, Threads immediately started censoring and putting warning labels on the accounts of conservative users. The launch of Threads raises important questions about the Meta’s control over information, evident through early censorship of conservative users, and also about the role of alternative platforms like Gab.com in countering the dominance of big tech oligarchs.

How Gab Deals With Scraping on the Open Web

Share this:

Nearly everything that is publicly accessible on the Internet is being “scraped” or downloaded by various sources. In the beginning, it was primarily search engines doing this, but this has been forever expanding to include archive sites, researchers, advertising shops, government agencies, and many more organizations who are hungry for data to collect and analyze. It is a fact of life on the open web, and something we at Gab are very familiar with.

The Regime’s War To Make Memes Illegal

by Pastor Andrew Isker

The Regime is currently trying to put a man behind bars for ten years for making memes. The most important First Amendment case of our lifetimes is taking place, and many have no idea it is even happening.

United States v. Douglass Mackey began this week and is a major part of the Left’s war on free speech in America. Two days after Joe Biden took the oath of office, the Department of Justice charged Douglass Mackey with election interference for posting memes in 2016. Mackey is alleged to be the popular Twitter poster Ricky Vaughn, who shared memes instructing Hillary Clinton supporters to text in their vote rather than wait in line at their polling place.

A Christian Perspective on AI

AI is about to shift the fundamental reality of our entire society, culture, and world. I feel it is my responsibility to help my brothers and sisters in Christ understand this fact, come to grips with it, and encourage them to start building before our enemies gain too much ground.

Christians have been building and using tools to glorify God for millennia. This is nothing new, and it’s only scary if we allow the enemy to take dominion over these new tools and use them against us as we, unfortunately, did with the last great leap in technology: social media.

by Richard Osgar

Well, folks, I thought it appropriate to give a short address to you all concerning the past year of the blog here and what else to expect for the next one.

Since November 2021 we’ve had an eclectic mix of op-eds from nearly every corner of Christendom. More than a few denominations of the Protestant tradition have shown up, joining ranks with clergy and laity alike in the rich heritage of both Eastern Orthodoxy and Western Catholicism. Covering such topics as the general Bold Christian Writing, the Parallel (Christian) Economy – Go and Build, Big Tech, Christian Nationalism, Homeschool Resources, Making Art Christian Again, and general ruminations on the life of the Christian dissident in modern America (and the world!).

The Gab Files: UK Government Demands Gab Ban A User For “Stirring Up Hatred”

Share this:

Gab is going to begin publishing the purely censorship-based inbound requests that we receive from governments. These are the cases where for the most part European bodies like the Met and Europol send us transparently political takedown requests with no law enforcement purpose. Essentially they’re trying to silence a person that they’ve already thrown in prison or are about to. If they don’t want us to talk about these frivolous requests, they can stop sending them to us.

Welcome to the Gab Files.
