Quality masculine role models are rare today. We certainly won’t find one in the current leader of the free world or his family. Corrupt, effeminate, imbecilic, perverse, drug use, etc. Sadly, this is the same image of the modern man propagated by western popular culture and institutions. We face a crisis of the emasculated western man. While the antithesis of Biblical masculinity is useful for what NOT to be, I believe a positive role model is much more valuable and powerful towards restoring western manhood.

If anything has become clear over the last few years it is that certain points of view have become censored, banished, and wiped from our society and our online sphere. While the woke crowd can be as extreme as it wants, without any fear of reprisal, God-fearing Americans have been bloodied in the streets and tossed in jails for simply expressing a different opinion. This brings about a need for those who have been alienated. An urgent need to provide these folks with a life net or even just a basic means of survival. Folks’ abilities to earn a living, or even provide necessities for their own families have been hindered by a media and government that wants them destroyed.

In the last three weeks, since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began, the Globalist Regime has put its people under a deluge of propaganda. This is, of course, a change in intensity rather than kind. No one can forget the last anti-Russian propaganda ramp up during and after the 2016 Presidential Election. Just this week, Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki, flippantly stated “and then in 2016, when [Russia], you know, of course, hacked our election here…” These people deliberately and fraudulently claimed that President Trump committed treason, colluding with Russia in order to get elected. They knew they were lying. And so did most people with even a modicum of suspicion. The Russia hysteria has been going on at least since 2007 when it became clear that Western banks and corporations were no longer going to be able to continue to exploit their erstwhile rival:

An Orthodox Christian’s Perspective on Abortion
The leading cause of death in the United States – let alone the world – is not heart disease, lung cancer, alcoholism, or gun violence; it is the myriad methods of destruction of life in a mother’s womb collectively known as abortion. As I type this article nearly 100 babies are murdered before their first breath every hour in the US. That’s 286,034 souls lost since 2022 began and this number continues to increase. [1] That makes abortion a more violent killer than all wars fought throughout humanity’s history…combined. To paint this statistical atrocity with an even broader stroke, more than 73 million abortions are performed worldwide each year – this is likely an underestimate, however, as such a number has been reported by the WHO.[2]

In 1957 Julian Huxley, brother of Aldous Huxley, coined the term “Transhuman.”
Julian was a staunch evolutionist, eugenicist, and globalist; he was also the grandson of T.H. Huxley, a contemporary and proponent of Darwin and his theory of evolution. In basic, Julian believed that up until the modern area, humanity had hitherto naturally evolved by chance. Yet now before modern man stood the opportunity to take the reins from “natural selection,” humanity could guide its own evolutionary process. Of course, not all of humanity, only those who have been chosen by history to do so. This idea was not unique to Mr. Huxley. Others such as Jonas Salk, to name but one, also spoke in similar terms in his book “Survival of the Wisest.”
Westerners live in a corporation, not in nations. We have flags, but we have no idea who we are anymore. Vending Machine People have been transplanted from our homelands into the corporate plantations of the Anglosphere and rebranded by Empire to fit into the compartment of a machine that dispenses artificial identities for convenience. MTV ethnogenesis turned us all into Americans singing and dancing our way through the destruction of ethnos inside the Magic Kingdom. Corporations profit from artists trying to resolve their identity crisis in the Western ‘videodrome’. And thanks to Critical Race Theory, they are polarizing the world in the process. Solve et Coagula.
…I think we can see it now
The cataracts from over a century of fractured theology and eschatological disappointments are beginning to fall from our eyes. The cloudy haze of escapism that would subconsciously govern our outlook on life now and in the future, the same haze which has played a role in blurring our sights on the Great Commission of discipling the nations, is finally dissipating.
A return to a robust, no-frill historic orthodoxy, along with an optimistic, hope-filled view of the future will characterize the theological framework of a reformation in this country and the world. Our lack of civil engagement, our almost unanimous withdrawal from higher education, our surrender to secularism, our lack of focus on the arts, entertainment, and even politics are all coming to an end. Our world has suffered too long. The ambassadors of our culture and the representatives who were meant to change it and bring it to Christ have been preoccupied with escaping the world instead of engaging it.

The Hall of Men is a local fellowship of Christian men and sons in South Carolina who gather every other month to break bread and toast their heroes. We laud and remember the saints of old while extolling the grace of God with strength and zeal. We eat, we sing, we verbally spar. Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox men engage in vigorous, non-“lowest common denominator” ecumenism. After the meal, one brother gives a 15-minute speech in honor of a great saint, at the conclusion of which the men hoist their steins to heaven and cheer the work of God through that man’s life. Below is a recent Hall of Men toast given in honor Bob Childress, the Presbyterian mountain preacher whose story is told in the book The Man Who Moved a Mountain.
If you look around the walls, you’ll see photos of men who have been toasted here in years past. Great, honorable men. Many of them well-known. Lewis and Tolkien and Chesterton and more.
Tonight, we will toast a great man and honorable man. But not a well-known man.
Tonight, we toast Bob Childress. And in so doing, we will raise our glasses to obscurity. Unseen faithfulness. To the common man. To toughness and grit. To loyalty and love. We’ll toast to the power of the Gospel to turn the hardest men and the hardest hearts to Christ. To change the habits and history and culture of a particular place.

After raising 3 kids and realizing that none of their toys had any spiritual value, I had the idea for a Talking Jesus Doll. It would be a plush toy that says phrases that Jesus said in the Bible. It would be a tangible way to reach and teach children in their formative years about the love and lessons of Jesus Christ. I had this idea a couple of years ago, but I filed it away into the ‘good idea’ section of my brain – like so many others. Fun to dream about but just an idea…
