Or: How Returning To Church For the First Time in 25 Years Changed My Life
I grew up in the Catholic church, but fell away from the church after leaving home for college in 1996, and have never attended church as an adult. Despite having had baptism and doing the things a good Catholic ought to do, I never established a connection with God or the church. But I still tried to live a very moral life and weather the storms, until it all crashed down on me.

This is the story of my return to Faith, the Church, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

God’s People Obey and Conquer

We are beginning a new series of sermons on the book of Judges. It is not a book that you get many sermons on. For many of you, this may be the first time you have ever heard a sermon on this book. The great tragedy of the evangelical church in the modern-day is how little we value the first two-thirds of God’s Word. We think the New Testament is all that matters, that the Old Testament has been put out to pasture. But this part of God’s Word is foundational to all that comes after it. If we don’t understand what God has said before the New Testament, it will badly mess up how we read the New Testament.

Is Russia fulfilling the Prophetic War of Gog and Magog?

OR WAS IT FULFILLED “SHORTLY” IN THE EVENTS OF AD 67 – AD 70?
PART 1 – THE WAR OF ISAIAH 2-4 AND DANIEL 9; 12

by Michael Sullivan

Well, here we go again – the 1970’s and early 1980’s TV “prophecy experts” are calling and they want their “Russia,” “Russia,” “Russia” newspaper eschatology back front and center because Russia is invading Ukraine and since Russia kind of sort of sounds like the “Rosh” of the Gog and Magog war in Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 19-20 – there you have it!  Even though John tells his first-century audience that Christ’s coming and this war were events that would “shortly” take place or “about to be” fulfilled (Rev. 1:1, 19YLT — 22:7, 10, 20) in the imminent war of the Romans and Jews, the religious con-artists can’t resist running the same scam again!

Patterns In Propaganda During War Time

by Rachel Wilson

It is always a challenge to get accurate information during wartime. You can also be sure that an avalanche of propaganda and disinformation are coming in the wake of such events in the world. It is said that propaganda is the most important front in a war. We can look back on conflicts from the beginning of the 20th century until now and see that this method has played a major role in every one of them. War propaganda has existed since ancient times but in the modern era of high-speed mass communication, it plays a bigger part than ever in manipulating civilian populations. Public support is necessary for a successful war effort, and governments throughout history have lied, deceived, and used manipulation tactics to achieve it.

How can we discern false information and propaganda from the truth as we watch events unfold in Ukraine? I will share what I have noticed over many years of studying propaganda in hopes that you’ll be able to spot patterns and understand when you’re being manipulated.

A Reflection on Ukraine, America, Russia, and War

The Ukrainian and Russian peoples came out of the Dnieper baptismal font, and the war between these peoples is a repetition of the sin of Cain, who, out of envy, killed his own brother”

His Beatitude, Metropolitan Onuphry of All Ukraine.

In the past I have written a number of articles that touch upon ecclesiastical issues in Ukraine, those articles may be found here.

Many are worried now that some “hot war” actions have begun in Ukraine, understandably and rightly so. Yet, speaking first to my Orthodox brethren, most of all I assume in America, I would say, the current issues have spiritual roots. Have we as Orthodox not been at best fairly passive with regard to what has been a type of spiritual fratricide in Ukraine? The spiritual fabric of Orthodoxy has been rent through the actions of the Ecumenical Patriarchate (EP) in recognizing unrepentant schismatics. As I’ve noted before, for years now violence has been used by these false Christians against the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under Met. Onuphry (Many Years!). At best flaccid support has been given by some here to the faithful there, mostly because those in America do not want to rock the boat. The representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in America, Archbp. Elpidophoros is an avid supporter of the schismatics in Ukraine. He openly communes and supports them. Yet he remains as head of the “Assembly of Canonical Bishops” in America. How can such a thing be? Few it seems have cared, up until now, that the faithful of Ukraine are being subjected to spiritual violence (which has manifested physically). Few it seems have cared that the EP is in open and full communion with unrepentant schismatics. So spiritual violence has been ravaging Ukraine, and few have said much. We value a nominal “peace” above true peace, for true peace cannot be had in communion with false brethren. Now major physical violence is taking place, but what is worse for the soul, spiritual or material violence?

Ukraine: George Soros’ Aggression Against Christian Russia

Before the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, Russia was a bastion for Orthodox Christian traditionalism. Orthodoxy thrived as the divine unifying force that united the various peoples of the Russian Empire. Towards the end of the empire, elites flirted with Western European ideas which had abandoned God in favor of occultism & humanism. Eventually, the ideals of Liberal Democracy and the “enlightened West” would open the door for the bloody Bolshevik revolution, which dethroned the Tsars, slaughtered faithful Orthodox Clergy & monastics, and suppressed the Orthodox Church as Russia turned towards roughly 70 years of Atheism under the USSR.

Kingdom Nationalism

Thy Kingdom Come

by Andrew Horval

One says, “Get out of here with your Christian globalism.”

Ah, and that is where you err dear antichrist!  Kingdom Nationalism is not of this world!

John 18:36 KJV — Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Why Do I Need To Know Everything?

We live in an age where the authorities label truth as falsehood, and falsehood truth. I can’t take anyone’s word for anything, and have to do my own research on the most trivial of matters, such as if a tablespoon of safflower oil in my cashew butter is going to start a cascade reaction in my body that leads to an untimely stroke. The authorities have abused me for so long that I can no longer trust them. I have to become an expert on everything, and I hate it.

In the past, you became an expert within a specific domain. For men, that meant farming, war, or governance. You spent most of your waking hours perfecting your skill in those fields, and trusted other experts for matters which you did not know. Today, the experts are liars. They will say anything the oligarchs want to keep their jobs and maintain a pleasurable lifestyle. We don’t have experts anymore, only shills, marketers, and traitors to mankind. The “experts” have declared this additive to be safe in food, but they lie for profit, and I must search online for the real story. This takes time and does not guarantee the information I’ll receive is accurate, but if I care the least bit about my health, I have no choice. After doing this for several years, I realize that I don’t have just one job (writer) but several…

The Way of the Warrior

The way of the warrior is resolute acceptance of death” Miyamoto Musashi.

The Lord, speaking to us through His servant Joshua, says, “Behold, I have commanded you. Be strong and courageous. Do not be cowardly or fearful, for the Lord your God is with you in all things, wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

The Lord instructed the children of Israel through the prophet Moses, “I set before you today life and death, good and evil. If you hear the commandments of the Lord your God I have commanded you today, to love the Lord your God, and walk in His ways, and keep His ordinances and judgments, you shall live and multiply … but if your hearts turn away and you do not hear, but go astray and worship different gods and serve them, I announce to you today, you shall perish” (Deut. 30:15ff).

Truly the same is true to this day for all who are of the House of the Lord. Following in the way of Jesus Christ is Life. Willful compromise of the way will only end in destruction.

The Goals of Secular Re-education and the Heart of Man

Share this:

by Fr. Zechariah Lynch

My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways” (Prov. 23:25/26)1

The secular world seeks to dull and desensitize the heart. It fears living hearts, full of grace and love for Christ Jesus. It does not fear the pseudo-jesus of modernity’s spineless ecumenism. In fact, such a pseudo-jesus is actively promoted. It only serves secularism’s goal of a heartless religion, one imprisoned in the flow of emotions that have not been purified of the passions.

A heart that is not undergoing purification in Christ is easily manipulated by the false appeals of compassion, unity, care, and tolerance that the secular world makes. Men will give their hearts to something. Thus, we witness around us an immense battle for the hearts and minds of people. What will educate and inform our hearts and minds?
